1
Is this the same as seeing a Nutritionist?
Kind of. While this falls under 'Nutritionist' designation, most Nutritionists only focus on diet and meal plans. My goals are different - while nutrition is an important part of Foundational Wellness, it's only one piece. Your appointments may also include lifestyle coaching, nervous system support, supplement education, applied kinesiology (muscle testing), and other wellness strategies tailored to your individual needs and within my scope of practice.
2
Will I receive a meal plan?
Not usually.
Rather than providing rigid meal plans, I focus on practical nutrition guidance that fits your lifestyle, preferences, and long-term goals.
3
What is applied kinesiology?
Applied kinesiology, often called muscle testing, is one of several assessment tools that may be incorporated into your wellness consultation when appropriate and within my scope of practice. It is used alongside your health history, symptoms, and other clinical findings to help guide individualized wellness recommendations.
4
Is this covered under insurance?
Coverage depends on your extended health benefits and the credentials recognized by your insurance provider. If you're unsure, we recommend checking with your insurance company before booking. Foundational Wellness treatments are not billable under massage therapy.
5
Is Foundational Wellness right for me?
In this society, unfortunately, rushed appointments are the norm. Not here - if you're looking for a place that will really listen, and take what you're saying seriously, AND look at a whole-person approach to health wellness -- this is your spot.
